Sloane Square was once to me
A square called Sloane,
But now I own the square called Sloane,
Since I can’t forget
That we there once met.
Once Blackfriars Bridge
Of bridges seemed the blackest,
But it’s whiter than white
Since there we said goodnight.
Every place I see your face
Gains grace, becomes
A point of light
Pointing to you.
Soon the whole town will become
As starred as the ceiling
Of the Planetarium,
But starred with points of feeling.
